Welcome to StrangerUs! We believe meaningful connections can start with a single swipe. Whether a conversation leads to an immediate connection or something more, the possibilities are endless. All adults are welcome to explore.

We want StrangerUs to be a fun, safe, and inclusive space where everyone can be themselves while getting to know others. These guidelines are designed to set clear expectations for behavior both on and off the app. Please read them carefully, as not following these rules can have real consequences, from a warning to a permanent ban.

StrangerUs Rules

Respect boundaries. By creating an account, accessing, or using the StrangerUs platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and any future updates or modifications. StrangerUs reserves the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time, and the revised Terms will be effective immediately upon posting.

Be Cautious with Personal Information. Do not publicly share your personal information, such as your phone number, email address, or social media handles. Never share sensitive details like bank account numbers or passwords. You should also never ask others for their personal information, and be extremely cautious of anyone asking you for money or encouraging you to make an investment—it is likely a scam.

No Violent Content. We have a zero-tolerance policy for violent content. This includes gore, death, images or descriptions of violent acts against humans or animals, the use of weapons, and any content that advocates for or glorifies self-harm. If we believe there is a risk of imminent harm, we may intervene by providing access to crisis resources.

Personal Connections Only. StrangerUs is not a platform for advertising, promoting a business, selling goods, fundraising, or campaigning (unless approved sponsored advertisement). Do not use your profile or messages to seek followers on other social media. Commercial sex work, escort services, or compensated relationships (such as seeking a sugardaddy/momma) are also strictly prohibited.

Be Authentic. People want to meet the real you. Do not create a fake account or impersonate someone else, even if it's for fun.

Communicate Respectfully. Treat others with respect. We do not tolerate harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, doxing, extortion, blackmail, or any other behavior intended to cause harm. StrangerUs is a platform free from hate speech. We will not tolerate racism, bigotry, or violence based on a person's identity, including their race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, caste, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, body type, or health status. If you encounter someone who is not a personal match for you, simply unmatch and move on. Do not report them unless they have violated our policies.

Do Not Cause Harm. Any behaviour that suggests, intends, or causes harm to another user—either physically or digitally—is strictly prohibited and will be taken very seriously. This includes incitement of violence or harm. If you have been harmed by someone you met on StrangerUs, we urge you to prioritize your safety and well-being. Please contact us if you wish to report the incident, as we are here to help.

Adults Only. You must be 18 years of age or older to use StrangerUs. We do not allow photos of minors, whether they are alone or unclothed, and this includes photos of yourself from when you were a minor.

Follow the Law. Illegal content and activities are strictly prohibited. You may not use StrangerUs to buy or sell illegal goods, such as drugs or counterfeit items, or to solicit help for any illegal activity. We have zero tolerance for any content that advocates for or facilitates harm to minors or human trafficking.

One Account Per Person. Each account must have only one owner. For security and privacy, we do not allow multiple individuals to access the same account. Similarly, each person is allowed to have only one account.

Post Your Own Content. Only post content that belongs to you. Do not share images or private messages from other people without their consent. Similarly, do not post copyrighted or trademarked material that you do not have the right to use.

Be a Good Community Member. Do not abuse the StrangerUs platform. This includes, but is not limited to, spreading false or misleading information, spamming harmful links, creating multiple accounts, or attempting to manipulate or scam other users for money or personal information. It is also against our rules to submit false or malicious reports, use third-party applications to "game the system," or harass our staff or affiliates.

Stay Active. If you do not log into your account for two years, we reserve the right to delete it due to inactivity. To ensure your profile remains active and visible, please log in periodically.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

StrangerUs uses a combination of automated tools and human moderation to detect and prevent violations of these guidelines.

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these rules.

Reporting and Enforcement

Users can report profiles, messages, events, venues, or any behavior that violates these guidelines directly within the app or by emailing support@strangerus.com.

We review reports as quickly as possible. Actions may include warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination depending on the severity of the violation.

We prioritize urgent safety reports and aim to review them promptly.

Offline Safety

StrangerUs facilitates real-world connections. Users are responsible for exercising caution when meeting others in person.

We encourage meeting in public places, informing trusted contacts, and reporting any unsafe experiences that originate from interactions on the platform.
